Blessed as true dance floor phenomenon, Felipe Lira managed over the past few years to make a strong name for himself in Sao Paulo, and all over Brazil, his native country. Felipe currently is enjoying a 4 year residency at the world famous venue The Week Rio, and is one of the masterminds behind the city’s most popular after-hours club, Pista 2, where he also officiates the decks as resident DJ.
Felipe Lira was selected as “Best DJ 2008” by the Brazilian magazine Dom, and was again claimed “Best DJ to work the Gay & Lesbian scene” by DJ Sound.
Born in the city of Natal(RN), Felipe learn the trade by officiating parties and fashion events then organized by well known labels such as Triton & Forum, along with various contributions on local radio shows.
In 2005, Felipe moved to Sao Paulo, where he soon established himself. Already on that same year, he played at the first edition of the “Selection” event, and at the “Pride” event organized by the Magma record label. He soon decided to invest his time in undertaking a complete specialized course in order to better support his professional skills and career. Since 2005, he played in major festivals and in more than 30 clubs throughout the country.
