Born in Portugal, raised in the US since young childhood and educated at the masters level in Europe, Paulo truly brings an international flavor to his rhythms. Based on the West Coast, he has been a musical fixture in Los Angeles for over a decade with current residencies at Reflex, Mars, and Here.

Co-founder of Pure Music Productions, Paulo has built one of the hottest independent record labels-providing top 10 progressive tracks both on Beatport and other digital download sites. Together with Todd Dutkevitch, Paulo has created deep rhythms with original tracks such as “Ride The Beat”, “Slave To The Rhythm”, and “The Brazilian Rainforest” for Tribo Recordings. Paulo’s releases include “Luv To Luv”, a Suzanne Palmer remix on *69 Records, Tommy Boy Records “Love Song”(an ode to the legendary Israeli songstress Ofra Haza) and “Lift It Up” by Inaya Day (which hit the number one spot on Billboard dance charts) and most recently a remix for DJ Chus “Black Rain” on the Stereo Productions.

It is Paulo’s live performances and unique sets of tribal-injected deep house mixed with hypnotic vocal tracks and his original productions that has helped him gain both praise both amongst his peers and countless fans both in the US and around the world.
